When we're kids, being silly seems so easy, so natural; it makes the days more interesting and fills the air with more laughter and joy.
When we get older, we feel like we can't be silly anymore. We are told that adulting is serious business, so we must be serious about it in order to be responsible. My partner and I have been practicing being silly again as grown ups, and we have found that even the serious moments can be a lot easier to get through if we remember to be silly.
