The original piece is a 18”x24” pencil drawing Haley drew for a drawing class in college in 2016.. The drawing took approximately 24 hours to complete. The assignment was to combine something non fictional and something fictional in one seamless image. The non fictional landscape Haley chose is a picture they took in 2011 of the ruins of an ancient library in Ephesus, Turkey while they were an exchange student in a nearby city. The fictional images added are the Belcher family, from the animated series “Bob’s Burgers”. We think it looks like they went on a little vacation and got up to some classic Belcher family hijinks!
